Hartsville residents arrested on drug charges

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Two Hartsville residents face drug charges after the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office searched a home Wednesday on Anita Drive.

Rodney Lewis Brockington, 43, of Anita Drive was charged with five counts of distribution of crack cocaine, third offense. Jamie Marie Timmons, 20, of McCall Road was charged with possession of cocaine and simple possession of marijuana, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office Drug Enforcement Unit and Special Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at Brockington’s home as part of an ongoing investigation, the sheriff’s office said. During the search, the units found 4.7 grams of crack cocaine, about five grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and money.
