Father, daughter, wife shot to death in Williamsburg County

HEMINGWAY, S.C. -- A family of three was shot to death in their Williamsburg County home Friday.

Lt. Daryel Moyd of the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office confirmed the deaths and deferred to the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division as the investigating agency.

SLED spokesman Thom Berry said agents processed the scene and were present at the autopsies.

Williamsburg County Deputy Coroner William Horton identified the victims as father and daughter William A. Lawrimore Jr., 44, and Savannah Lawrimore, 5, his daughter. Horton said the wife also died and identified her as Cynthia W. Lawrimore, 46. All were from Hemingway.

Investigation into the deaths is ongoing, SLED spokesman Thom Berry said.
