LETTER TO THE EDITOR: The hypocrisy rolls on

Regarding the offensive and racist statement from the Black Darlington city councilwoman to a white police officer, I fully believe that if the council member had been a white male and the officer had been black, and the same message was sent, that council member would have been removed from office the next day.

It was stated in the article that the council does not have the authority to remove a member from office. I bet they would have found a way. The social justice warriors would have exerted enough pressure to get it done, one way or another.

The hypocrisy rolls on.

In my thinking, the government has overreacted on this virus from the very beginning.
