COLUMBIA, S.C. – A letter signed onto by South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson may have caused the administration of Joe Biden to back away from proposals that would have brought critical race theory into American classrooms. Wilson was one of 20 state attorneys general to sign onto a letter written by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona on May 19. 

I have renewed respect for Keith Ellison. The former congressman and current attorney general of Minnesota appeared on “60 Minutes” last week and said that he didn’t charge Derek Chauvin with a hate crime because “we only charge those crimes that we had evidence that we could put in front of a jury to prove.”

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says the bill that would make Washington, D.C. the 51st state is unconstitutional. Wilson is one of four lead authors of a 22 state attorneys general letter opposing a bill that would make the nation's capital the 51st state.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina residents who had mortgage trouble with Mr. Cooper may soon see some relief. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced Monday that his office has joined with 50 other attorneys general and other federal and state agencies to reach an $86.3 million settlement with Nationstar Mortgage which does business as Mr. Cooper.
