Lake City receives $5K prize from T-Mobile
LAKE CITY − Lake City High School recently won a $5,000 prize through T-Mobile's Friday Night 5G Lights program — part of an initiative providing real funding directly to schools and communities through a shared love of Friday night football.
The program is aimed at making big impacts in small communities, with a total of $8M in prizes being awarded to schools across the nation.
A $1 million stadium transformation is also up for grabs. T-Mobile will announce the Top 40 finalist schools on Oct. 8 and fans will have a chance to vote who advances to the grand prize.
