        Darlington County Emergency Medical Services recently placed a new ambulance in service to replace an aging unit. The new ambulance, featuring a 2026 Chevrolet G4500 chassis with a remounted ambulance module, has undergone a refurbishment both internally and externally, saving the county tens of thousands of dollars.
