Trinity Collegiate boys golf finishes as SCISA 4A state runner-up & other high school recaps
CONWAY, S.C. − The Trinity Collegiate boys golf team placed second in this year's SCISA 4A state tournament with an overall score of 580 (292-288) at Coastal Carolina's Hackler Course.

Trinity Collegiate Schol's boys golf team poses with the SCISA 4A state runner-up trophy Tuesday at the Hackler Course in Conway.
Mason Slaughter led the Titans with an overall 141 (72-69), followed by John Wylie Richcardson (71-72−143), Tate Sonfield (73-73−146) and Locke Sonfield (79-77−156).
"I'm so proud of this group," said Drew Anker, the Titans' 1st-year coach. "The seniors played lights-out, and we had some young guys who got some very valuable experience this year. So, I'm really excited about the future. Our players are great players, but even better people. We shot even par today, so we played better than we did yesterday."
Hammond won the team state crown with a 573.
