MARION, S.C. – Marion County Sheriff Brian Wallace said he was honored to host Federal Bureau of Investigation Senior Supervisory Resident Agent Joaquin Balaguer as he presented certificates of appreciation to three members of his staff for their work resulting in the arrest and conviction of Dominique Devonah Brand for the kidnapping and murder of 80 year old, retired school teacher Mary Ann Elvington. Marion County Sheriff’s Capt. Aurelius Cribb, Detective Dewayne Rogers, and Victim Advocate Tammy Erwin received certificates “in recognition of outstanding assistance to the FBI in connection with its investigative efforts.”
