Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd was the guest speaker at the First Responders Appreciation Day at the Bethea Baptist Retirement Community on Thursday.
DARLINGTON, S.C. -- First responders, those who arrive first on the scene of a medical, criminal, fire or other accidental/emergency event were honored Thursday at Bethea Baptist Retirement Community’s First Responder Appreciation Day. It was an opportunity for residents to meet the men and women who respond to those calls, and give a personal “thank you.”
